Prerequisite: GB2: Intermediate Glassblowing or equivalent glassblowing experience.

Move beyond the vessel in this dynamic special topics workshop. Learn to expand the scale and complexity of your work to create unique sculptural objects in glass. Techniques to be covered include: teamwork, hot bits, assemblage, and hot sculpting. The course will be structured between instructor demos, fundamental exercises, and group assignments.  Students should expect to leave the course with a greater comprehension of large gathering techniques, sculptural assemblage, and advanced collaboration methods.

This class meets once a week for four consecutive weeks. Thursdays: June 4th, June 11th, June 18th, and June 25th, 6pm – 9pm.
