ALL GLASSBLOWING RENTALS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: garage, pipe warmer, pipe cooler, studio blocks, studio pipes, studio loading gear (kevlar gloves and face shield).
- Please email dana@brooklynglass.com to make a reservation. if you would like to use the garage or oxygen torch, please notify us upon scheduling studio time.
- Glass is supplied by Brooklyn Glass at 10lbs per working hour per rental.
NEON STUDIO RATES – $43 per day
ALL NEON STUDIO RENTALS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: ribbon burner, cross fire, hand torch. Please email dana@brooklynglass.com for bombarding rates and noble gases.
- We require all neon renters to bring their own tools. You will not be able to borrow tools and items from the studio during rental time. You may purchase a neon bending tool kit at the studio if needed.
- Renters must check in and check out with the tech on duty and are responsible for cleaning their work area once they are done.
- Neon units can take 3 to 4 weeks to be pumped. If repairs need to be made or electrodes attached, the time frame may be longer. All neon units must be tagged with the following information: name, email, date and gas choice.

FLAMEWORKING STUDIO RATES – $43 per day
ALL FLAMEWORKING STUDIO RENTALS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: studio torch (small, $54/day for Carlisle), studio tools, pickup oven.
The tool kit includes: tweezers, mashing tweezers, graphite reamer, graphite paddle, claw grabbers.

- If you do not have flameworking glasses, you may rent a pair for an additional $10 daily fee.
- Renters must check in and check out with the tech on duty and are responsible for cleaning their work area once they are done.
COLD WORKING
ALL COLD WORKING RENTALS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 3 grit-fed flat wheels, (80, 220, 400) 2 vertical wet belt sanders, 2 diamond saws, (14″ blade). 1 diamond drill press, 1 electroplated diamond flat wheel (18″), 1 upright polisher, 1 horizontal lathe, 1 sandblaster (220 grit). Cold working tools are free for pieces made at Brooklyn Glass. For outside jobs, please email dana@brooklynglass.com for rates.

HOT CASTING RATES
Please email the studio dana@brooklynglass.com for rental rates or to schedule a hot casting shift.
NO SHOWS
No shows in flameworking, neon and hot shop rentals will be charged for the full amount of their booking.
Please note: walk-in renters will be charged an additional 25% of their studio fee.
