In this 5 hour introductory course students will be learning to use glass as a molten material to fill molds made with sand, exploring the near limitless possibilities of glass in its fluid state. We will be using our hands and a variety of tools to construct a negative space in which glass can be poured into. This style of working results in beautifully textured solid sculpture and/or functional objects. We recommend students to bring in any interesting objects that they may use to press molds with.
