Hollow flame working glass fabrication

Prerequisites: Intro to flame working glass fabrication or prior flameworking glass experience.
This course covers the basic fundamentals for working with hollow borosilicate glass.
Students will explore shaping and forming hollow glass through a variety techniques. Demonstrations combined with student work time and individual student-teacher instruction will make up the core curriculum.
Course Goals and Objectives:
-Review of any introductory level of technical proficiency with flame-worked borosilicate glass
-Learning new vocabulary with hollow flameworking techniques
-Understanding safe and courteous operating procedures in the glass studio
-Able to create hollow forms
- To combine hollow techniques with solid techniques
